Wow! Where to start? These past couple weeks have been insane! I haven’t done anything really, but a lot’s happening…

It’s official, I’m no longer a member of New Life Christian Fellowship, the church I grew up in… the place I always called home… oh well, God’s always had a plan and I guess this is part of it… we’ll see where I end up J

I hope all of you are doing well… nobody that I’m subscribed to or that are subscribed to me ever comment anymore except Mr. Chris cuz he loves me J So I’d really like to hear from ya’ll and know how you’re doing

Things are changing… memories fading… friendships lost… new ones gained… I guess they call it summer and L.I.F.E. in general

I have so much in my head but no way to really get it out… I’m creating a new xanga due to the fact that mine is accessible to too many eyes that don’t need to read my mind anymore

Ok kids… it’s time for a serious entry… one that’s meant to make you think…

This week I’ve been noticing some pretty sad things… but we’ll look together and analyze… and you’ll comment and let me know what ya think! J

Close your eyes… picture every single person you know BUT only their personalities… no faces… do you see the personality you’re in love with? The one you hate? The one who’s your best friend? The one you admire? The ones you “hang” with?

Now picture faces… are they the same ones who match the personalities? Most likely they’re not… wanna know why? People are shallow… cold… and pretty superficial… not really on purpose though… which makes it worse

I just recently encountered a situation… a very attractive, very sweet, intelligent, funny, amazing guy came into my life… surprised me… and made me feel like a million bucks!!! It was like we’d known each other forever… amazing… but then, something changed that… a face to face encounter showed me everything I needed to know about him… or did it? His insides matched his outsides beautifully… I just wish mine would have… the look on his face said it all…

Another example, look at sites like xanga, Hi5, The Facebook, and Tagged… the better your picture, the more people start to im you or call you or email you, etc… all because they like what they see… but 9 outta 10 times, they’ll turn into the phony people you never wanna talk to again… or you’ll have nothing in common and it’ll suck… My lil bro’s site is full of girls saying “you’re so hott!” “I want you!” “you want me” and all that, but they (my brother and the girls) realize that there’s not a whole lot below that attractive surface… how sad!

Why do people do this? I understand the need for physical attraction in a relationship, without it it’s rather hard… but at the same time, I also know the value of falling for the personality alone… things can happen in an instant to shatter or build up that physical image of a person… people age, get in accidents, have cosmetic surgery, meet their goals, etc… so lets look at some good and not so good examples…

I’m not saying this as a horrible unleashing of venom on people, but I just want people to start and open their eyes a little more to the important things… you could be missing out on the best thing that could ever happen to you
